This 16th century traditional pub has some grim history with records of hangings and even a drowned landlord! Thankfully these days it is a social hub and the visitor will be greeted by hop-strewn oak beams, open fire, comfortable seating and a U-shaped bar sporting handpumps. Live music performed and weekly quiz nights held. Refurbished in Spring 2025.
