After a short closure, the pub reopened in November 2025 under the stewardship of Stubbings Pub Group.

What appears to be a very traditional village inn comprises a single bar with an adjoining room used for pool and games. Both areas have large TV screens used for showing sport. The garden at the rear is surprisingly large. Family-run and friendly, this is very much a social place, no food at present. 4 en-suite bedrooms are available including in a rear annexe. Parking is a few spaces on the forecourt, but there is a public car parking 100 yards away. No food or cask ale at time of writing but landlord hopes to have both by Easter 2026.
