New tenants took over the pub in November 2025. Food has temporarily been discontinued and the real ale choice is under review, with a more diverse range being gradually introduced.

The pub will close in early January 2026 for a refurbishment and change of furniture.

There is a patio garden terrace at the rear, free Wi-Fi and a small car park in this dog and family friendly pub which is popular with locals. A dartboard is available and occasional live music on a Friday or Saturday.
