Located centrally on the historic market square, this quaint but attractive pub dates from the 16th century. Inside is appealing, with a series of small cosy snugs running the length of the building. There is some seating outside the front of the Bear. The menu features good wholesome food and is popular with regulars and visitors. The pub usually stocks the Sheps. seasonal ales as well as occasional guest beers from other breweries. Cask club member with all seasonal ales.
