Overlooking the village green to the front and with Box Hill to the rear, the Royal Oak is in a very attractive spot. A log-burning stove is a welcome addition on cold days. As the pub is situated on the Greensand Way footpath it is a popular stopping off point for walkers. The pub garden features a meerkat retreat and these animals can be seen in a large caged area.
