See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

This charming pub is the centre of the local community. Previously called the Bell, it gained its current name when the other pub in the village, the John Jorrocks, closed in L969. Originally a coaching inn dating from the early 18th century, it's a good base for circular walks in the picturesque Low Weald and the mid-April beer festival is worth a visit. Excellent food is served and on Sunday evenings a variety of Street Food is available. Camra branch Pub of the Year 2018.
