See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site
A 16th-century pub with inglenook fireplaces in each of its two bars. The restaurant to the right has its own bar. A display above the fireplace with part of an original wattle and daub wall is behind glass and provides interest. The patio and the garden are accessed from the restaurant via bi-fold doors and also via gates at the side and rear. Some tables are also provided at the pub front. The garden has petanque pitches. Good food is available daily plus the popular Sunday roasts. A jazz evening is held on the first Thursday of the month. Ramblers are welcome.
