A modern Wetherspoon's located in the heart of Deal. Throughout the pub the theme is about the history and characters of the area. The long bar features holographic images of Sir Norman Wisdom.

There's a small carpeted, seated area at the front of the pub. Steps and a lift take you up to the rest of the pub, which is split into two parts. The front carpeted area provides comfortable seating. The larger, back part has a long bar, with restaurant-style stools and tables. There's a door to the paved patio.

The pub is well-equipped with 12 handpumps in 2 banks of 6. Beers from Kent breweries periodically feature. Two beer festivals and one cider festival are held each year.
