Community-owned, 14th century Grade II listed timber-framed pub located in the middle of the country village of Ash. The decor is simple with wooden floors, panelling and furniture adding to the warm, comfortable environment.
Inside there's a large main bar area with a cosy restaurant at the back, which can also serve as a function room.
Adnams beers feature alongside a guest ale. More ales maybe served at busier times.
There's an interesting, well-priced menu, with a Vietnamese twist to some of the dishes. On Sunday, a roast is served, that alternates each week.
At the back there is a large garden and Bat & Trap pitch.
There's parking at the nearby village car park.
