The Divers Arms, as the name suggests, has a feel reflecting its maritime heritage and its situation right on the seafront. It was built in early Victorian days, allegedly on the proceeds of one of the first divers. Today an old brass diving helmet (first invented in neighbouring Whitstable) is one of the several fascinating nautical artefacts and local memorabilia on display.
