Classic and friendly country pub which features hanging hop bines and a cosy snug. Traditional games include bat and trap. There is a Wednesday crib night. Guest beers are usually from Kent or Sussex breweries, and an annual beer festival is hosted in May in a marquee in the attractive garden. Excellent home-cooked food, using local produce, is served. The coach house has been newly renovated to give accommodation for 2 to 4 people.
