This good size grey and white painted pub sits on a corner, halfway up this residential road opposite Blakers Park, with its nice clock tower. Inside the bar is one open area with a small angled bar, and a conservatory to the rear. Its all done out in pale colours, with pale blue wall panelling, other white woodwork and the ceiling, with white glazed bricks behind the bar. There is a light wood floor, upholstered benches, and nice arched leaded stained glass windows with patterns all around. It is very much children and dog friendly. As well as an extensive menu the pub is open for brunch Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am - 12:00pm. 3 real ales are normally on.
